We acknowledge the following:

“Don’t think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete. Yes indeed! I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away, not so much as a yud or a stroke will pass from the Torah – not until everything that must happen has happened. So whoever disobeys the least of these mitzvoth and teaches others to do so will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But whoever obeys them and so teaches will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven…” Matthew 5: 17-19. “Far more blessed are those who hear the word of God and obey it!”( Luke 11:28) “If you obey what I say, then you are really my talmidim, you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:31-32). “Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me, and the one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and reveal myself to him” (John 14:21). “If you keep my commands, you will stay in my love –just as I have kept my Father’s commands and stay in his love – I love the Father, and I do as the Father has commanded me” (John 15:9-11 & 14:31).

We are certain that the Prophets properly spoke from Adonai’s perspective and we will:

“Be just and fair to all. Do what is right and good, for I am coming soon to rescue you and to display my righteousness among you. Blessed are all those who are careful to do this. Blessed are those who honor my Sabbath days of rest and keep themselves from doing wrong. Don’t let foreigners who commit themselves to the Lord say, ‘the Lord will never let me be part of His people. And don’t let the eunuchs say, I’m a dried-up tree with no children and no future.

For this is what the Lord says:

I will bless those eunuchs who keep my Sabbath days holy and who choose to do what pleases me and commit their lives to me. I will give them – within the walls of my house – a memorial and a name for greater than son’s and daughters could give. For the name I give them is an everlasting one.

It will never disappear!

I will also bless the foreigners (those from the nations/gentiles) who commit themselves to the Lord, who serve Him and love His name, who worship Him (the Lord) and do not desecrate the Sabbath day of rest, and who hold fast to my covenant. I will bring them to my holy mountain of Jerusalem and will fill them with joy in my house of prayer. I will accept their burnt offerings and sacrifices, because my Temple will be called a house of prayer for all nations. For the sovereign Lord, who brings back the outcasts of Israel say: I will bring others, too, besides my people Israel.” (Isaiah 56:1-8).

We commit and choose to remember, to keep, to observe and to learn about Adonai’s Torah, Commandments and Sabbath days of rest, Holy days, and new moon ceremonies because we want to do those things that please Adonai. We want to be blessed and enjoy the Spiritual blessings that come from Adonai. Our walk of obedience to Adonai’s (and Messiah’s) commands is our way of showing our love for Him. We also remember that we are not greater than our Master/Teacher/Shepherd (Messiah Yeshua), and since Messiah obeyed the commandments of the Heavenly Father, we will endeavor to do the same. After all, Messiah Yeshua is our Kinsman-Redeemer and we are the lambs and sheeps of His fold!

Ruth Ephrathite Messianic Chavurah ve Synagogue biTshuvah ve Kulanu Berean Bible Institute (for Biblical Studies and Messianic Missiology & Israelology Studies) is a Torah Observant gathering within Spiritual Israel, a fellowship with a “Ruth Consciousness” (and a part of the sect of the Nazerenes). We are a prayerful and sincerely devotional fellowship group and house of prayer and study. Ruth Ephrathite Messianic Chavurah ve Synagogue biTshuvah ve Kulanu Berean Bible Institute (for Biblical Studies and Messianic Missiology & Israelology) is a fellowship of the mystery of the vine, the graft, and the branch. Like Ruth, we are abandoning everything to live what must be to some as a strange way of life. We are coming to faith in the YHWH of Israel through the salvation and redemption of Y'shua/Yeshua Ha Mashiach (Micah 5:2-8). In following the pattern of the original 1st century fellowship, congregation, and the original talmidim (Apostles) of Messiah, we study and are observant of the Torah, Haftara (Nevi’im, Ketuvim) and B’rit Chadashah. “You search the Scriptures because you believe they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures point to me (Yeshua)!” (John 5:39).

As a Kulanu Berean Bible Institute - KBBI (for Biblical Studies and Messianic & Israelology Studies), we conduct continued study of  the Word of HaShem and learn more about Missiology, which is a young science, combining theology, anthropology, mission history, communication theory, and other disciplines; while also studying the eschatology of HaShem's covenantal promises and role of Israel. We also put into practice what we learn from YHvH and Yeshua through Torah observance (both living & written) and the Ruach Haqodesh. ” But as soon as night fell, the brothers sent Sha’ul and Sila off to Berea. As soon as they arrived, they went to the synagogue. Now the people here were of nobler character than the ones in Thessalonica; they eagerly welcomed the message, checking the Tanakh every day to see if the things Sha’ ul (Paul) was saying were true. Many of them came to trust, as did a number of prominent Greek women and not a few Greek men” (Acts 17: 10-12). We are also wary of the leaven and hypocrisy of the Prushim and doctrines of false teachers; we are led, counseled and convicted by the Ruach Haqodesh; and we practice making righteous judgments and not judge by appearances. We practice obedience to the teachings and commands of Y'shua/Yeshua and the commandments of YHWH. We believe that both natural Jewish believers in Y'shua/Yeshua and Gentile believers in Y'shua/Yeshua (both being children of the promise through Y'shua/Yeshua) make-up Spiritual Israel.

This means that we are “grafted in to” or born in to Israel and made citizens (fellow heirs) of the larger commonwealth of Israel…Our faith is the faith of Israel, which is placed in the Messiah of Israel (Yeshua), and henceforth practice the Messianic faith of Israel and our hope in the Jewish Messiah Yeshua (excerpts taken from D. Thomas Lancaster, Restoration: Returning the Torah of God to the Disciples of Jesus). We are a part of the prophetic restoration of Israel and the Torah (“This is the covenant that I shall covenant toward them after those days, says Adonai. I will put my Torah (teachings and instructions) in their hearts, and in their minds I shall write them” Hebrews 10:16). We are no longer divorced from the “Root of Jesse”. Through obedience to Torah, we are becoming reconciled with the Lion of the Tribe of Judah and choose to worship at Mount Zion; therefore, we become a part of the Teshuvah movement, a Hebrew word meaning “return” and “repent”. For us, Messiah Yeshua is no longer standing at the door knocking because we hear his voice and open the door and he comes into HIS Beit (house) and he takes the evening meal with us as we sit at his feet learning. “All those for whom I have affection I reprove and discipline. Therefore be zealous and repent…Let the one who has an ear hear what the Spirit (Ruach Haqodesh) says to the congregations…”Teshuvah! Teshuvah! Teshuvah! (Revelation 3:19-22).

Ultimately, we are talmidim of Messiah Yeshua and a fellowship in the Spirit of the Ekkelesia of Jerusalem. The first congregation in Jerusalem was Jewish and its leader was Peter, who was the elder/leader of the Jewish Messianic congregation, under the Shepherding of Messiah Yeshua. Here we feel at home in our Hebraic Heritage. Also, we are a Torah Observant beit t’fillah (prayer) messianic fellowship group of like-minded believers (talmidim) of the Hebraic Roots of our Faith (1 Corinthians 9:17-21). As talmidim of Yeshua Ha Mashiach (“Messianic God fearers and cultivated branchs”) of the Way, we proclaim “the Lord is our righteousness and out of Zion goes forth Torah!”(Jeremiah 33:16 & Isaiah 2:2-4). Halleluyah! We are grafted and/or born into the root who is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah and All Israel!
